Angels Mount To The Top of Competition
A diminutive group of performers from “In The Gathering of Angels” hit the platform for the Dance Xplosion regional emulation in Watertown the weekend of Walk 8th. They could not have anticipated that the students from workshop locations in Carthage and Gouverneur, NY would waltz off with so many honors.
The two day emulation was held the weekend of Walk 8th at the Dulles Condition Office Construction. The auditorium hosted competitors from studios throughout the province. Studio Directors Carrie Edick and Rhonda Foote well-known that their choreography, along with that of stick members Stephanie Warnekros, Jessica Jones, and Kierstyn Zaykoski made a little showing.
The workshop was represented by twenty acts. In the Jr. Lay open solo Xtreme separation Rachael Coon performed a present/vocal solo to “Coagulate Angel”. Rachael admitted a Platinum medal and first courtyard trophy in the order. Justina Davenport current a Platinum medal for her solo, “Wildfire” and Brielle Farley accepted an Xtreme Gold medal for her solo introduction to “The Way I Are”.
In the Jr. Hamper Category solo Xtreme separation, KC Edick admitted a Platinum medal, first square solo and the coveted inscription of Mr. DanceXplosion for his abstain from food paced reading of “Saturday Darkness”.
In the Jr. Jazz Duet/Trio Xtreme Separation Justina Davenport and Julie Peck combined talents in a jazz duet to “Atramentous Cats”. The girls brought place of abode a platinum medal and sixth square trophy overall in the duo/trio separation.
The Petite Lyrical Solo Convert Division brought first-duration competitor Kaylin Mulberger to the platform for a Gold medal and first courtyard trophy as privileges for her solo “Smile”. Kaylin also placed 7th overall in the Petite Solo Proselyte Division.
Jackie Evans performed “Butterfly Kisses” in the Younger Lyrical solo Convert Division for an Outermost Gold Medal.
